Jackstrap Devlog 03 - Strap Weapons and Arena Size
This update explored Jack’s straps as part of the combat identity, refined run animations, and locked in the first arena-size direction.
What changed?
- Experimented with Jack’s straps, especially the arm straps, as weapon-like extensions instead of giving him separate weapons.
- Worked on run animations after the first rough direction tests.
- Moved the run animation closer to the version currently used in the game.
- Decided on an arena size of four screens arranged as a 2x2 space.
